Trailer for the werewolf horror film BLACKOUT

Dark Sky Films has released a trailer for a new werewolf horror film titled Blackout. The story centers on Charley, a small-town artist (Alex injured), “a tortured man whose drinking binges are mixed with a vague suspicion that he might be a werewolf. He distances himself from those he loves and sinks deeper into solitude, his flashes of memory of his macabre nocturnal acts manifesting themselves through his works of art.

The film comes from the director Larry Fessenden (Habit, depraved) and this is the third film in a trilogy of monsters he created. The first two films included his vampire film Habit and his film Frankenstein Depraved.

The director said in a statement: “I’m interested in finding new truths in the classic monster clichés of my youth. The essence of each creature determines the setting of the film, and of course the werewolf is both out of control and sorry, so the duality shaped my story. I’m thrilled to be working with Yellow Veil again, they understand my way of making films and have been avid supporters.”

It’s also in the cast Addison Timlin, James LeGros, Kevin Corrigan, Barbara Crampton, Joe Swanberg and more.

Dark Sky Films will release the werewolf film theatrically in New York on March 13, followed by a wider release on Digital/VOD at home on April 12, 2024.
