Apple TV+ has renewed its sci-fi drama series Invasion for the third season! This is a fantastic series and I’m excited to know that the story will continue with another season. The series comes from Simone Kinberg AND David Weiland Kinberg said in a statement:
“I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to do with our first two seasons of the show with our partners at Apple TV+ and our cast and crew. This new season will continue to build on the scale, stakes and propulsion of “Invasion,” keeping our characters front and center, bringing them together in ways that will hopefully surprise and, more importantly, move our audience, who has been so incredibly supportive and inspiring since day one.”
Invasion follows an alien invasion through different perspectives around the world. Speaking previously about the future of the series, Kinberg explained:
“I had a four-season story arc for the show that I was building from the pilot on. I have a structure for how I see the life of the series. We were working on the scripts, me and the writers’ room before the writers’ strike, and we’re working on the scripts again now with the hope that since season two was a very successful show for them, we’ll be back for season three.
The series is the protagonist Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, Indian brown, Billy Barratt, Azhy Robertson, Paddy Holland AND Tara Moayedi. The second season also featured new series regulars Enver Gjokaj, Nedra Marie Taylor AND Naian González Norvind.
