Shudder has released a trailer for its upcoming horror thriller History of Evil, set in the near future, a time when war and corruption have plagued America and transformed it into a theocratic police state.
In the story, “Against oppression, ordinary citizens formed a group called The Resistance. One of these members, Alegre Dyer, escapes from political prison and is reunited with her husband Ron and her daughter Daria. On the run from the militia, the family takes refuge in a remote safe house. But their journey is far from over, as the house’s dark past begins to consume Ron, and his sincere desire to keep his family safe is overtaken by something far more sinister.
The film was written and directed by Bo Mirhosseniand becomes the protagonist Paul Wesley, Jackie Cruz, Murphee BloomAND Rhonda Johnsson Dents. It actually looks like an interesting movie that will tell a crazy story.
The film will stream on Shudder on February 23, 2023.
