PlayStation has released a new gameplay trailer for its remake of Silent Hill 2, and it focuses on the game’s nightmarish combat action. I still remember staying up all night with my friend playing the original game in 2001 and it was a really fun and creepy time! It will be interesting to play this remake.
The game comes from Blooper Team, and while they have confirmed that the gameplay will be updated, the development team will not be making any changes to the story. Chief Marketing Officer of Blooper Team Anna Jasińska he previously said: “We’re focusing on bringing the distinct, visceral atmosphere back to the modernized Silent Hill 2.”
Set in the mysterious, fog-shrouded town of Silent Hill, the game follows James Sunderland, as he receives a mysterious letter from his late wife, Mary, inviting him to return to the town. Driven by guilt and desire, James embarks on a nightmarish journey to unravel the truth behind his wife’s death, encountering grotesque monsters and enigmatic characters along the way.
