Deadpool 3 is undoubtedly Marvel Studios’ most anticipated film in development, it’s a film that all fans know will be beautiful and unique. THE Dead Pool films break the rules and experiment with different aspects of storytelling. The creative teams always think outside the box with the franchise, so we know it won’t be like anything we’ve seen before.
Since the superhero genre is in crisis right now with comic book movie fatigue, audiences are looking for something that breaks the mold of everything we’ve seen in recent years. X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn recently shared his excitement for the film and also said that he thinks Deadpool 3 will save the MCU. Speaking to BroBible, Vaughn said:
“This is going to be the shock… the Marvel universe is going to get a shock and it’s going to bring that body back to life… I think Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are going to save the whole Marvel universe.”
Vaughn also said he hopes the film establishes a place where the world of the X-Men can grow in the MCU because he is a fan of the franchise: “I’m a true X-Men fan, all I want is for the movies to be as good as they should be.’“
The recently released synopsis of the film reads: “Will that damn irresponsible hero Deadpool change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!?”
The film is the protagonist Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin as the evil Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggam in the role of blind Al. They are united by Brianna HildebrandAND Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. Rob Delaney he will return as Peter and Jennifer Garner she will return as Elektra in the film. There’s also a long list of cameos that may or may not appear in the film.
Deadpool 3 will be written by Bob’s Burgers’ Wendy Molyneaux AND Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglinwith Dead Pool AND Deadpool 2 writers Rhett Reese AND Paul Wernick also returning to contribute to the screenplay.
Deadpool 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.
