Joel AND Ethan Cohen are getting together for a horror movie project and it looks like it’s going to be crazy. I’ve always wondered how the Coen brothers would handle a horror film, and it looks like we’ll find out!
The filmmakers are behind films like No Country for Old Men, Fargo, Inside Llewyn Davis and The Big Lebowski. They haven’t collaborated on a film project together in years as they both developed their film projects on their own, but it’s exciting to see that they’re getting back together for a horror film!
In 2021 Joel was released The tragedy of Macbeth hero Denzel Washington AND Frances McDormandand Ethan just made a road-cop comedy called Dolls to remove.
Ethan recently shared that he wrote a new script with Joel and that the duo plans to collaborate on it. He spoke about the project saying: “It’s a pure horror film, and it’s very bloody. If you like Blood Simple, I think you’ll like it.”
Ethan recently made Drive-Away Dolls and is co-writer (and Ethan’s wife) Tricia Cooke also revealed that the script for this new horror film is “horribly funny.”
I can’t wait to see what this Coen Brothers horror film ends up becoming!
