Trailer for the slasher horror film IN A VIOLENT NATURE told from the killer’s point of view

Here’s a trailer for an interesting new slasher horror film titled In a violent nature. What makes this slasher so unique is the fact that the story is told from the killer’s point of view. This was one of the most talked about films at the Sundance Film Festival. Although the concept was unique and there were some gnarly kills in the film, many people thought it was boring.

The film was picked up by Shudder and follows “the enigmatic resurrection, rampage, and retribution of an undead monster in a remote wilderness.”

In the film, “When a medallion is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that buries the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred by a horrific 60-year-old crime, his body is resurrected and he becomes determined to recover it.” . The undead golem zeroes in on the group of vacationing teenagers responsible for the theft and proceeds to methodically slaughter them one by one in his mission to get him back, along with anyone who stands in his way.

The film was written and directed by Chris Nash and becomes the protagonist Ry Barrett, Andrea Pavlovic, Cameron Love, Reece Presley, Liam Leone, Charlotte Creaghan, Lea Rose Sebastianis, Sam Roulston, Alexander OliverAND Lauren Taylor.

Shudder’s vice president of programming said in a statement: “In a Violent Nature is a tremendous new slasher. We’re excited for you to meet Johnny, whose reign of terror honors the iconic subgenre while taking audiences on a singular and brutal new journey into it. Chris Nash’s bold perspective represents Shudder at its best, marrying the genre’s traditions with its own hilarious next steps.

No release date has been announced, but the film is expected to be released in 2024.
