Top Gun: nonconformist AND Anyone but you star Glen Powell has found his next film project, a thriller titled Huntingtonwhich was written and directed by John Patton Fordwho was previously at the helm Aubrey Square’S Emily the criminal.
The film is described to us as a “raucous revenge thriller” about “Becket Redfellow (Powell), the heir to a multi-billion dollar fortune who will stop at nothing to get what he deserves… Or what he thinks he deserves” .
The film was inspired by Studiocanal’s 1949 Ealing Comedy Library title, Kind Hearts and Coronets, starring Alec Guinness. It is explained that this new film “is darker than the classic original caper, but leans on witty and lively jokes.”
Kind hearts and crowns centers on Louis D’Ascoyne Mazzini, son of a woman disowned by her aristocratic family for marrying outside her social class. After his death, a vengeful Louis decides to take over the family dukedom by killing the eight people who precede him in the line of succession to the title.
John Patton Ford said: “I feel extremely privileged to be making this film with Studiocanal, Blueprint Pictures and Participant. It says a lot that these companies chose to make an original and progressive film like this. And Glen Powell is the icing on the cake.”
Euro studio Studiocanal e Three billboards outside Ebbing Missouri Producer Blueprint is producing the project. A24 is also said to be close to finalizing an internal deal.

It will be a lot of fun.”
The film will begin shooting in early summer and it looks like another big film project for Powell to take on. We will next see him in Richard Linklater’s next film Hitman. He too will be the protagonist Twister.
