Universal Pictures is developing a new Jurassic world movie and they hired him Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp to write it. The project is described by Deadline as a “complete reboot” and is on track towards production.
The new Jurassic world the film will be “a completely new take on the Jurassic era Jurassic worldand stars Chris Pratt AND Bryce Dallas Howard return is not planned. Don’t expect to see Jeff Goldblum, Laura DernOR Sam Neill don’t even show up.
The new film will be produced by Steven Spielberg through Amblin Entertainment, Frank MarshallAND Patrick Crowley will produce.
THE Jurassic Park AND Jurassic world franchises have always been big business for the studio and they are obviously ready to start profiting from them again. This franchise has had a good run, but the whole thing seems a little silly to me. Do we really need another one of these movies? No. But while they’re at it, I hope they at least put a big twist on the story and do something very different than the other films that have been made.
