REACHER star Alan Ritchson shares a major photo update from the set of season three

AS Reacher Season 2 is coming to an end, season 3 is currently filming and the star of the series Alan Ritchson recently posted an update from the set with a photo and the caption: “Welcome… we’re back. Season 3 of Reacher… bloodier than ever.” As you will see in the photo, Reacher is returning to brutal hardcore action.

The second season of the series has become Amazon’s biggest TV hit of 2023, and it looks like it will put Jack Reacher in a very different environment. During a previous interview with Ritchson, he talked about the direction of the character and story in the next chapter, and Ritchson teased a “new world” for his character. He said:

“I can’t say much about season three, but I will say that there are a lot of classic Reacher stories that are just adventures that he gets sucked into in a big way, and we get to enjoy Reacher in a new world. It might have nothing to do with family, with his past, he’s just having that adventure and that’s kind of the direction we’ve gone and it seems to really work.”

The first season of the series is based on the first novel in the Jack Reacher book series, “The Killing Floor”. Reacher is “a veteran military police investigator just entering civilian life. When he arrives in the small town of Margrave, Georgia, he finds a community grappling with its first murder in 20 years. Reacher is falsely accused of murder and as he works to prove his innocence, a deep-rooted conspiracy begins to emerge.

“Season two begins when veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher receives a coded message that members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one.
