Jordan Peele and his Monkeypaw Productions has developed a psychological sports thriller titled GOATand they cast the cast Marlon Wayans in the film and chose a director to take on the project.
According to THR, Justin Tippingindependent film director Kick ithe was hired to take on the challenge of directing the film.
GOAT, which as you probably know stands for Greatest of All Time, tells the story of a young and promising footballer who is called to train with the champion who is about to retire. Since the film will be a psychological thriller, it’s safe to say that these characters’ experience will not be pleasant.
Monkeypaw Productions acquired the project from Limetown creators Zack Akers AND Skip Bronkie last year. They are also writing the script for the film.
As for Peele, he is currently developing his fourth film, which he says might be his favorite film project.
