Deadpool 3 star Ryan Reynolds shared a preview photo of the film of himself as Wade Wilson getting licked in the face by Dogpool. The photo was shared on his Facebook page as part of his 2023 thank you post.
The dog they chose to include in Deadpool 3 is absolutely perfect for Wade Wilson! Seeing the two characters together in this photo is truly amazing! I’m excited to see what the arc of these characters will be.
Dogpool made his debut in Deadpool Corps #2 in 2010. He was originally a normal dog named Wilson who gained Deadpool’s healing factor through an experiment gone wrong. After being left for dead in a dumpster, he ran away and joined the circus where he was nicknamed “Deadpool the Daredevil Dog”.
Equipped with increased agility, strength, and the ability to heal from injuries, Dogpool engages in unusual and chaotic adventures alongside other alternate versions of Deadpool in the Deadpool Corps. His unique blend of Deadpool’s personality and canine charm will add some fun entertainment to the film.
The rest of the confirmed cast includes Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin like the bad guy, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggam in the role of blind Al. They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. This had already been confirmed Jennifer Garner she will return as Elektra in the film.
Alleged casting includes Brian Cox as William Striker, Halle Berry like Storm, Owen Wilson like Mobius, Famke Jensen as Jean Grey, Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Channing Tatum in the role of Gambetto, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Taylor Swift as Dazzler, Taron Edgerton like a different Wolverine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Tara Strong in the role of Miss Minutes, Tom Hiddleston like Loki, Dafne Keen in the role of Laura Howlett alias X23, Rebecca Romijn in the role of Corvo, Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom, Patrick Stewart as Professor Ian McKellen as Magneto. James Marsden he could return to play Cyclops, together with Liev Schreiber like Sabertooth, Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine, Dafne Keen like X-23 e Channing Tatum like Gambit. Then, of course, there is Taylor Swift.
Director Shawn Levy said that some of these alleged characters will be present in the film.
