About a month ago we shared a teaser for a fan-made animated film that imagines The Legend of Zelda in the style of a Studio Ghibli anime film. We have a new video to share with you today, made by creator RwanLink, who uses Unreal Engine to bring these beautiful images to life. It is inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the creator shared what this video entails, saying:
In this video I will introduce Castle Town, a new environment I created using Unreal Engine 5. This represents the culmination of four months of dedicated effort in parallel with my full-time job. Having previously focused on creating realistic environments, I decided to venture into something different this time. As an avid admirer of Studio Ghibli films, I took inspiration from their aesthetic and incorporated it seamlessly into the world of Zelda Ocarina of Time, paying homage to the game’s 25th anniversary.
This is currently a Legend of Zelda movie in development by Nintendo and is directed by Wes Ballwho stated that his vision for the film was inspired by the work of Hayao Miyazakiwhich I think a lot of fans will be happy with.
