That would be Cameron Diaz Back in action with Jamie Foxx on Netflix and the Charlie’s angels Star defends her co-star against allegations he has had a hard time dealing with.
In a new interview, Diaz breaks her silence about working with Foxx and reports that she would be the next star Django unleashed Star would influence her career.
“I really hate everything that was said about our set at the time,” Diaz said on the station Lipstick on the edge Podcast about the rumors that circulated in the media during filming Back in action. “You just want to scream like, ‘What are you talking about?’
Diaz continued to praise Foxx, adding, “Jamie is the cheerleader for the whole crew. Everyone loves him. We have so much fun with him on set and he’s just a professional on every level.”
Back in action is Diaz’s return to film after 2014 Annie, in which she starred opposite Foxx. Diaz also shared credits with Foxx in 1999 Every Sunday.
“Jamie is the best. I love this man so much. “He is such a special person and he is so talented, so funny,” she added. “The problems that arose during production are natural things that happen. But nothing was postponed, except of course towards the end. And I’m not allowed to talk about it.”
Foxx suffered a “medical complication” in April from which he is still recovering, something Diaz is happy about.
“When I see and hear people try to belittle someone else in this way… [Jamie is] so stylish,” she said. “He says no. Leave her alone [talk].’ Still, it really pissed me off.”
Back in action is a film directed by Seth Gordon and co-written by Brendan O’Brien and starring Foxx and Diaz. The film also stars Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts and Rylan Jackson.
