Luann de Lesseps Reveals Tinsley Mortimer Was in the Mix to Appear on ‘RHUGT: RHONY Legacy’

Luann de Lesseps I had no idea Kristen Taekman he would join her and four of her exes. Real Housewives of New York City co-stars of the new season of The Real Housewives: The Best Girls Journey. In fact, she said Luann exclusively Hollywood life ahead of the show’s premiere on Dec. 14, which Tinsley Mortimer was in the mix to appear in the cast originally.

“I wasn’t surprised it was me, Dorinda [Medley], ramona [Singer]AND Sonia [Morgan]” Luann said. “I was surprised it was Kristen Taekman, because I hadn’t thought about Kristen in a while. She lives in Los Angeles now. But Tinsley Mortimer couldn’t attend.

“Then Kelly [Bensimon] “I’ve been planning to get her back for years,” Luann added. “I welcomed him to the show, put her name out there and hoped she would come back, and she did!”

Luann, Dorinda, Ramona, Sonja, Kelly and Kristen filmed RHUGT: RHONY Legacy during the summer in St. Barts. Several RONIO Alumni missed the trip, including Tinsley, who has lived a life away from the spotlight since leaving the Bravo series in 2020. She recently married her fiancé, Roberto Bovardin Palm Beach, Florida.

This is the first season of ROAR features cast members from the same show, which Luann said was a big plus when the women were filming together.

“It feels natural because we are friends by nature,” he explained. “It’s hard to fake a friendship and you see that in other shows. I would say our cast is really friends on an organic level and we have a history. So I think that really shows and makes everything much more interesting and intense.

While Luann and the others RONIO The OGs have been replaced by a new cast, the “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer is still proud of all the epic moments they delivered over the course of 13 seasons.

“We had a great performance at the fair. OH Inheritance Some things didn’t work. “I was excited to go on a week-long trip and spend that time with the girls,” Luann said. “I moved to lake of shit and do my own cabaret shows. I’m busy with other projects. I’ve just done it The Masked Singer. I’m moving on to other projects and I’m having a lot of fun.

“But I think RHONY OG needs to go everywhere in the world,” Luann added, noting that it would be fun for the women to travel to all the different destinations like they do on Below deck. “I think there’s an annual OG housewife journey in us.”

The first three episodes of RHUGT: RHONY Legacy will debut Thursday, December 14 on Peacock. The remaining episodes will premiere weekly on Thursdays.
