I sure would love to see Deborah Ann Woll reprise her role as Karen Page in the upcoming MCU series Daredevil: Born Again. There have been rumors that she might return, and it would be a shame if Marvel moved forward without Woll’s version of Karen Page.
During a recent interview with ScreenRant, Woll was asked about the rumors of her returning to play the character, but she completely avoided answering the question and instead talked about how much she loved playing Karen Page and the future of the character, saying:
“Look, playing Karen Page has been one of the most important roles of my career so far. I have enormous love and respect for her, for myself, for the story that we created together. I think that any performance of Karen that comes back, if she comes back, if it’s me, if it’s not me, if it’s in the comics, if it’s in 50 years, whatever it is, I just hope you continue to honor her. May you never just be the sidekick.
“You may not see Karen Page’s story, but she’s making a whole TV show by herself that no one filmed. Make sure that, for our characters, who aren’t superheroes or aren’t main fighters in that sense, that we just continue to honor the fact that they have full lives. That’s what I really appreciated about my time playing Karen Page, and I hope that if I were to do it again or if it continues, people would care as much about her.
“I’m so proud. I really am. I loved working on her so much, and she’s a really great person. I miss her.”
As for what Marvel has planned for the near future Daredevil: Born Again series, it was previously reported – SPOILER ALERT – that the show would begin with the death of Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson. Some rumors claimed that Karen would also get caught in the crossfire, while others said that she didn’t appear at all.
The series is currently in the midst of a creative overhaul, so who knows what the new creative team will keep from the previous regime that was fired.
Regardless of the story, Foggy Nelson and Karen Page played significant roles in the Netflix original series and fans loved those characters! It just seems like it would be a stupid decision for Marvel to not include them in the new series, but that’s par for the course for Marvel right now.
From everything being said by the actors and creative team, this new Daredevil show will be a fresh start for the franchise. So I don’t expect Foggy or Karen to show up.

Also includes Michele Gandolfini, Margherita Levieva, Nikki M. James, Michele Gaston, Arty FroushanAND Clark Johnson in undeclared roles.
