The director of GODZILLA MINUS ONE thanks American fans for the success of the film

Toho’s Godzilla minus one has been a major success in the United States since its release, grossing over $19.2 million at the box office. The film became the highest-grossing Japanese live-action film of all time in North America, which is great!

The director of the film, Takashi Yamazaki, shared a heartfelt message to Godzilla fans in North America thanking them for their support of the film and its success. He said:

“We are thrilled with the overwhelming response in North America. I have read fan feedback on social media and am very encouraged by the passionate comments based on in-depth analysis of the film. I heard that in some rooms there was even applause. Thank you for warmly receiving our Godzilla.”

The applause in the cinemas is 100% right! In the theater, I watched the film among the fans who screamed with applause and applause. Watching Godzilla Minus One in the theater might be the most fun experience I’ve had at the movies this year!

The film is set in Japan 1945-1947. “After the war, Japan was reduced to nothing. Godzilla appears and throws the country into a negative state. Against the most desperate situation in the history of Japan, how – and with whom – will Japan resist?”

If you haven’t watched Godzilla minus one and yet, what are you waiting for!? If there’s a movie you have to see in the theater this year, do it Godzilla minus one!

After seeing Godzilla Minus One, I have no desire to see any of the other Godzilla films produced by Legendary Entertainment. The creative team and executives over there just don’t understand this property and what it’s supposed to be. They think they know what it should be, but they’re wrong.
