Casey Wilson not a fan of Tim Allenand on a recent episode of her podcast, Bitch Sesh, she didn’t hold back and unleashed the fury of her feelings toward Allen after working with him on the Disney+ series Santa Clauses. She said his experience of her on that show was “the worst experience he’s ever had with a co-star.”
Wilson said: “Tim Allen was such a bitch. It was truly the worst experience he’s ever had with a co-star. He said he didn’t want to talk about his experience with Allen so far because a producer on the show is “great friends with him” and also because his children “loved the movies.” But now she doesn’t care what others think and she shared the following story:
“So I’m in a scene. It’s just me and Tim Allen and I’m supposed to throw things at him. I think he’s a thief. So he’s coming down the chimney, obviously as Santa Claus, and I woke up thinking there was an intruder, basically like a home invasion scene. So I’m throwing things at him. [He] he walks up to the producer who’s about a foot away from me and goes, and I hear him, he says, “You need to tell her to stop getting in the way of my lines.” The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk over to me and says, ‘Um, Tim would ask you to stop stomping on his lines.’”
Wilson went on to say that “everyone was walking on eggshells” around Allen on set and “people just seemed frantic.” He also explained that “When he finished, he was so rude. I never made eye contact, never said anything. He was so uncomfortable.
She went on to say that after finishing a shot that locked her in the foreground, she said Allen immediately left the set without telling any of the cast and crew. She said:
“It’s the end, and Tim Allen says, ‘He’s leaving!’ and takes his Santa cape, picks it up, drops it on the floor, and walks away. And they work hard to replace it; a lovely man, against whom it was much kinder to act. People rush to get their velvet coat from Santa Claus. She’s a bitch. And this is the best… I won’t say who said it. This was someone I don’t know, maybe on the crew. [He or she] He walks past me and says, ‘You see it on a nice day.'”
I’m really not that surprised by what Wilson shares here. I’ve heard some things about the difficulties of working with Allen. While I’ve really enjoyed Tim Allen’s work over the years, it’s a shame that he behaves this way. It will be interesting to see if and how he responds to these accusations.
