ADVENTURE TIME: FIONNA AND CAKE has been renewed for season 2 by Max

Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake was renewed for a second season at Max. The animated series is a spin-off of the fan-favorite show Adventure time.

Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake is set in the land of Oooo and follows alternate versions of Finn and Jake on a multiverse journey of self-discovery. When Fionna (Madeleine Martin) and his helper Torta (Roz Ryan) find themselves in the crosshairs of a powerful new enemy, they have no choice but to seek the help of former Ice King Simon Petrikov.

Showrunner Adam Muto said in a statement: “Knowing that the show will continue for a second season is wonderful and frankly surreal. Thank you to the creator of ‘Adventure Time,’ Pendleton Ward, the Max team, the talented cast and crew, and the passionate audience who made it all possible.”
