The MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS trailer teases the next half of the first season

Apple TV+ has released a trailer for its Godzilla series Monarch: Legacy of the Monsters. This show was actually decent and the story is better than what we have seen in the films produced by Legendary. The first trailer for was recently released Godzilla x Kong: A New Empirewhich will feature a bright pink Godzilla!

I just have to say, though, that nothing Legendary makes is as good as the Godzilla films currently in theaters, Godzilla minus one. That Toho-produced film blows away everything Legendary made.

Anyway, the new trailer for Monarch: Legacy of the Monsters offers a preview of the second half of the first season. The first four episodes are now streaming on Apple TV+, and the mid-season trailer also recaps the events up to this point.

Spanning three generations, the series follows “the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and follows two brothers who follow in their father’s footsteps to discover their family’s connection to the secret organization known as Monarch.” .

It is explained that “clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell AND Wyatt Russell), set in the 1950s and half a century later, in which Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows.

The epic saga spans three generations and “reveals buried secrets and the way epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate in our lives.”

It’s also in the cast Anna Sawai (Pachinko), Ren Watabe (461 Days of Bento), Kiersey Clemons (Hearts beat strong), Joe Tippett (Easttown Mare), Anders Holm (The Mindy Project), AND Elisa Lasowski.

The series was developed by Chris Black AND Matt HamletAND Matt Shakman (WandaVision, Fantastic Four) directed the first two episodes. All three are also executive producers. Furthermore, Hiro Matsuoka AND Takemasa Arita executive producer on behalf of Toho Co., Ltd., the owner of the Godzilla character.
