We have a post-strike update for all you fans of the Star Wars series. Some shows appear to have been affected by the long-running strikes, and some have other reasons for taking a long time, but whatever the reason, we have a rough timeline for you to peruse courtesy of Bespin Bulletin and Making Star Wars (via SFFGazette.com/ CBM).
The outlets are reporting this, despite previous reports Star Wars: The Skeleton Crew would be released at the end of 2023, the series created by Jon Watts AND Christopher Ford it was delayed a full year, so we can expect it in the fall/winter of 2024.
It seems The Acolyte will be the first series to arrive next year (probably late summer), with Andor Season 2 has been delayed to 2025 after previously being confirmed for an August 24 launch.
As for The Mandalorian Season 4, it seems like the strikes have benefited that series from a creative standpoint, but it too is unlikely to be released before 2025. It’s a little disappointing, of course, but on the bright side, we expect to see The Acolyte, Skeleton crew, The bad lotAND Tales of the Jedi next year.
Which series are you most excited to delve into?
