This is in celebration of the Secret Lair program’s annual “Secretversary Superdrop.”
This Secret Lair x Jurassic World: Dr. Ian Malcolm drop is sure to entertain fans, because who would have thought that Dr. Ian Malcolm would ever find his way into Magic: The Gathering!? It’s a little crazy.
Dr. Ian Malcolm’s drop is a nod to the charismatic chaos theorist, with four previously released Magic: The Gathering cards getting a Jurassic World makeover. Cards include Laboratory Maniac as “Chaotic Chaotician”, Tasha’s Hideous Laughter as “Malcolm’s Mercurial Mirth”, Tasigur, the Golden Fang as “Ian, Convalescent Charmer”, and Atla Palani, Nest Tender as “Dr. Ian Malcolm”. Each card features illustrations and flavor text that vividly capture the essence of Ian Malcolm’s character.
Additionally, the set includes a special Egg token, featuring Ian Malcolm watching a dinosaur egg hatch, adding a little thematic touch to the collection. Fans eager to delve into the mayhem can find more information on the official website.
There is also a second one Jurassic world drop it in the Secretversary Superdrop: Life Breaks Free collection. This set reinvents the iconic Magic: the gathering creatures like some of the dinosaurs Jurassic world. Etali, Primal Storm becomes the mighty “Tyrannosaurus Rex”, the Rampaging Ferocidon transforms into the agile “Velociraptor”, Polyraptor embodies the fearsome “Indominus Rex”, Wayward Swordtooth takes on the role of the resilient “Triceratops”, and Regisaur Alpha becomes the imposing “Spinosaurus.” The poster-style artwork was created by Dan Mumford and Thomas Roach.
The Secretversary Superdrop doesn’t stop there.
