Brie Larson says there’s still more to come for her MCU character Captain Marvel

Actress Brie Larson he has been playing the role of Captain Marvel since 2019, when he debuted the character in the title film. He continued to assist the Avengers later that year End of the gameand since then we have seen her appear in various projects, culminating this year in a wonderful adventure with her team, The wonders. But will we see his character return in the next phases of the MCU? Larson says there’s still a lot of story to tell.

In a recent interview with ET, Larson said of Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel:

“I think there’s still so much left in Carol. I feel like being a part of this team has just opened her up in a way that she’s never been and I really love that for her.”

The actress also said that she liked seeing more of Carol’s relatable side, beyond being a superhero savior of the universe. “You say, wait, oh, of course she would wear Crocs,” she laughed. The Marvels begins with Carol living a solitary life in space, but after essentially being forced into a super-powered trio with Kamala and Monica, she begins to open up more to human connection and emotional attachments.

“I just loved her and let her shoulders fall a little bit, and she didn’t need to feel like all the responsibility fell on her. So I think there’s so much more to come. She’s just a great character to continue to grow with. .” . It’s like if I grow up, she grows up too.”

As for what’s next for Carol in the MCU’s future — it’s currently unconfirmed that Larson will star in any future projects — the actress revealed that there are definitely plans in the works, but that’s all she can say.

“I don’t want Marvel to come and get me, but there’s something. There’s definitely something, to answer your question, that I want to say, but I won’t.”

Seems legit. No spoilers for us. But I’m thrilled to know that we haven’t seen the end Captain Marvel in the MCU.
