Stranger things actor Davide Porto, who plays Hopper in the series, is preparing to return to work now that Hollywood’s SAG/AFTRA strike has come to an end. He’s ready to go and is hyping the best of this new season with some pretty big statements about how fans will receive the final chapter of the beloved story that follows this misfit group of misfits in the town of Hawkins, Indiana.
In an interview with Comicbook, Harbor said:
“I’m just going to make a bold statement. Every year it seems like the show gets bigger and more exciting. And we have a real responsibility to knock it out of the park in the final season. So if we don’t, t, give me all your anger from fans. Write the petitions. Go ahead, do it. Because I’m going there next week to get started and I’m going to put my whole heart into this thing. I’ve read some of the scripts and, in my mind, they’re stunningly good. It’s time. We’re going to kill it from the park. We’ll give you the ending that you need, that you want, that I want.”
When described above Stranger things Season 5, the creators and the writing team, The Duffer Brothers, described the next chapter of the story, saying that “it’s like season one and season four had a baby. And then that child was injected with steroids.”
Stranger Things 5 it will be the last time Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Luca (Caleb McLaughlin), Maximum (Sadie Sink), and the rest of the Hawkins gang are all together for one last fight against the evil Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower).
Stranger things is expected to return to Netflix in 2025.
