It was a truly fantastic ending for Marvel Loki Season 2! It’s great to see that Marvel still has the ability to tell a great story. I loved Loki’s arc in this series and the way his story ended was truly spectacular.
According to the executive producer of Loki Kevin Wright, Marvel and Disney might actually release the season finale of Loki in theaters, which would be really cool to see on the big screen! During an interview with CB, Wright was asked if we would ever see the Loki episodes on the big screen, and he said:
“I would love to, and I will say this… obviously, sound mixing is different for streaming than for theater. We did a theatrical mix of the ending, and it was always like, ‘Who knows?’ It’s something we’ve talked about with Disney, depending on when the strikes ended and bringing everyone together. Depending on how people react to this ending, we have a version that it could be.”
Let’s hope this happens! That season finale was pretty epic and it’s incredibly exciting to think about how that ending will impact the MCU in the future and how it might be addressed.
