I have a couple of really cool trailers here for you to watch for an upcoming sci-fi action movie titled EONII. This is the first science fiction film ever to come out of the African country of Tanzania, and it looks like a pretty impressive film!
The film is set in the distant future and the story follows a lone scientist who “makes a revolutionary discovery, called EONII, that could save the nation and the continent. Forces in the shadows begin to emerge. Lies, betrayals, politics and war, all to decide one thing: who should control the power of the EONII?”
The film comes from the director Eddie Mzalewho said in a statement: “I’m really happy to be part of this because you feel part of that movement that inspires people to think outside the box.”
The style and tone of the film is a fusion of traditional Swahili culture with futuristic concepts featuring advanced technology and cool-looking robots. There’s no U.S. release date set yet, but check out the trailers below and tell us what you think!
