BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD: the film’s screenplay will be written by writer John Logan, THE GLADIATOR

One of the great films developed by James Gunn AND Pietro SafranDC Studios is another version of Batman Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The flash director Andy Muschietti is set to direct the film and will give us a completely new take on Batman and many other characters in the Batman universe.

The project is inspired by Grant Morrisonis the popular Batman comic book series and will focus on Bruce Wayne’s relationship with his biological son, Damian Wayne. Batman: The Brave and the Bold he is said to be one of the James Gunn AND Pietro Safranfavorite projects of.

We now know that they turned to a top-tier, three-time Oscar-nominated writer to develop the film’s script. The moderators of r/DCEULeaks reported that “Three-time Oscar nominee John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator, Hugo, Skyfall) is in talks to write The brave and the bold for DC studios.”

Logan is also behind projects like The Last Samurai, Specter, Alien: Covenant, Penny Dreadfuland more. Sounds like a great choice to write a Batman movie! He has such a wide range of different projects that consist of different genres and it seems like he could really make a great script for The brave and the bold.

Speaking previously about this project, Gunn said: “So this is the introduction of Batman DCU, Bruce Wayne, and also the introduction of our favorite Robin, Damian Wayne, who is a little son of a bitch, murderous assassin, who he unintentionally picks up, who is the real son of Batman that he didn’t know existed for the first 8-10 years of his life, and brings him into his life and that’s a story. It’s a very strange kind of father-son story between the two of them. And it’s based on Grant Morrison’s run on Batman. There are a couple of comics writers who have been exceptionally influential on our work and Grant Morrison and Tom King are probably the main two.”

One thing fans are really interested in seeing is who ends up playing Batman in the film. While we wait for further updates, what do you think about the possibility of John Logan writing the film’s screenplay?
