Shannon Wilcox, a prolific actress who in Dallas, several Garry Marshall films and dozens of other films and television shows, died. She was 80.
A post today on Legacy.com said she died Sept. 2 in Los Angeles.
During her 45-year film career, Wilcox amassed more than 75 credits. Her TV guest roles range from Hawaii Five-O, Cagney & Lacey, Magnum, PI And LA law Unpleasant NCIS, the neighborhood And Grey’s Anatomy. Among her many films is that of Marshall Frankie and Johnny, Go to Eden, dear God, the other sister, Raise Helen And The Princess’s Diary and its sequel. Other films include Runaway bride, seven, for the boys, Legal Eagles and plays the mother of Elisabeth Shue’s character The Karate Kid.

She also starred with Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson in the 1984 musical film song writer
Wilcox’s best known small screen roles were a recurring appearance as Anita in five episodes of the original Dallas and as a normal operation Goat James, a medical drama starring Dennis Weaver that aired for one season on ABC in 1987-88.
