Today we have a fun trailer to share with you for a new zombie comedy called As we know it. In a world overrun by zombies, a group of friends “must try to reconcile their relationships and enjoy the little time they have left… before the end of the world.”
The film follows an eccentric group of friends who find themselves caught up in the chaos caused by a sudden zombie outbreak. I always enjoy horror comedies and this one seems to inject generous doses of humor and heart into a situation that is typically filled with blood and sadness.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of the film’s unusual and often hilarious take on the end of the world. It features scenes of the characters navigating their relationships amidst the chaos of flesh-eating zombies.
The synopsis reads:
Set in Los Angeles in the late 1990s, struggling writer James Bishop grapples with the emotional shards of a recent breakup with his longtime girlfriend, Emily. While James endures writer’s block in his Hollywood Hills home, his eccentric best friend Bruce shows up with bad news. The city has been plunged into chaos due to an unusual zombie outbreak, courtesy of contaminated soy milk, which wreaks havoc on James’s semi-charmed life.
With the streets of Los Angeles teeming with the undead, James, Bruce and Emily band together to barricade themselves indoors while reconciling their personal struggles. And occasionally, letting in the only food delivery service still operating, Abracadabra.
Combining elements of romance, friendship and the absurdity of survival, HOW WE KNOW is a rollercoaster of laughs and unexpected twists. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, our trio will have to face their demons, rekindle lost love and, of course, avoid being transformed into the undead. Packed with witty dialogue, nostalgic nods to the ’90s, and a unique blend of comedy and horror, AS WE KNOW IT is a wild ride that proves that, even in the face of an apocalypse, there’s always room for love and the laughter.
The film comes from the director Josh Monkarsh and becomes the protagonist Mike Castello, Oliver Cooper, Taylor Blackwell, Chris ParnellAND Pam Grier. The film will be released in theaters starting November 10th.
