The cast of “Mean Girls” reunites as their original characters in Walmart’s new Black Friday commercial

This is really so attractive! Lindsay Lohan, Laura Chabert, Amanda Seyfried and several additional actors from Bad Girls gathered for a new Walmart Black Friday commercial – and the cast gave off major sequel vibes as they played their characters.

The ad, released on November 1, introduces viewers to a whole new group of Plastics at North Shore High School, where the original characters now work. Cady Heron (Lindsay) works as a consultant, Karen (Amanda) is a sports journalist, and Gretchen is a mother.

Also Kevin from Mathletes (played by the actor Rajiv Surendra) He reprized his role, playing a father who tells his son his famous catchphrase: “Don’t let the haters stop you from doing what you want, Kevin Jr.”

The commercial begins with Cady saying, “On the North Shore, some things never change. “On Wednesdays we still wear pink.” Then Gretchen arrives in her silver convertible and says to her daughter, “Go, honey! Let’s go shopping”, a nod Rachel McAdams‘ says the character Regina George: “Go ahead, loser! Let’s go shopping. (Rachel was not present in the commercial).

Cady is next seen sitting at her school desk, talking to two students who appear to be part of the Plastics gang. “Even as a consultant, I was still learning,” she says, before adding her totally strange but ever-iconic phrase “Grool” (a portmanteau of the words “big” and “big”).

Gretchen also tries to get everyone to understand her slogan about “research,” until her daughter tells her, “Stop trying to make ‘research’ happen, Mom. This will never happen.”

TO Bad Girls However, the reunion would not have been the same without it Daniele Franzese, who played the always funny Damien. Viewers see Damien at the winter talent show greeting Karen, Gretchen, and Cady, who are sitting in the audience watching the students perform.

In a perfect homage to the OG stars, Gretchen’s daughter and her group of friends perform their elegant rendition of “Jingle Bell Rock,” which, of course, can never go wrong, until one of them accidentally throws a Walmart speaker off stage. And as the fully present mother she now is, Gretchen’s upbringing resembles that of Amy PohlerCharacter of June George, Regina’s mother. Gretchen raises her camera to the audience and boasts about being a “good mother” to her son.

To make matters worse, Cady and Damien are standing in the middle of the hallway where, instead of printing the pages of the “Burn Book”, Walmart’s commercial flyers create chaos among the students.
