Kody Brown Reveals His Daughter Madison Has No Contact With Him: ‘She Stopped Contacting Him’

Cody Brown He continues to face problems when it comes to uniting his family. The Brown family patriarch, 54, has complicated relationships with several of his older children, including him Madison Brown27 years old, his daughter with Janelle Brown. In the episode of October 29th sister wivesKody reveals that he doesn’t talk to his daughter.

“I don’t know what happened,” Kody says. «But during the breakup with Christine [Brown], Maddie stopped looking for me. It could have been COVID or… I have no idea what was going on, but she stopped looking for me.

Janelle, 54, explains why Maddie isn’t talking to her dad right now. “Maddie doesn’t care about him because of his behavior lately,” Janelle says. “She says: I don’t know what to do with him. I don’t know who this guy is. Then she must consider her children. You have to consider the stability of what they see or perceive as grandparents. There are many things at play here. It wasn’t just Maddie who didn’t call him.

Kody feels like he has a “broken family” right now. “I can’t fix it,” he admits.

Later in the episode, Janelle explains why her kids haven’t spoken to Kody. “They usually ignore him because they think: why talk to him?” Janelle explains.

Gabe AND brown finish have been open about their fractured relationships with Kody. Despite so much family turmoil, Kody isn’t exactly trying to make peace with his kids. “You don’t belong in my house if you can’t respect me,” Kody declares. «Remember, it’s my house. It’s not yours.”

Janelle is not at all surprised that her children are arguing with their father. For her it all comes down to one person: Kody. “I think Kody is putting exactly what he puts into the relationship,” she says. new episodes of sister wives airs Sundays on TLC.
