Meri Brown Confesses That Kody Brown Told Her He ‘Never Loved Her’

Meri Brown AND Cody Brown The relationship has been in trouble for years and it seems that Meri, 52, is getting closer to a permanent departure. During the October 29 episode of sister wives, Meri reveals she had to call Kody, 54, to remind him of their 32nd wedding anniversary. Kody admits that she didn’t want to go, but they ended up having dinner together.

Later in the episode, Meri talks about the hurtful words Kody said to her in the past. She “she said to me: ‘I never loved you. I’ve never felt this way about you. I was trying to assert that,’” she says. “These were her words. “I was just trying to make that point.”

He continues: “I thought, this is a load of nonsense. Ask someone we know. Ask anyone who saw us in our early years, even 10 years ago. And they would know that this is just a bunch of nonsense that he’s saying maybe to try to justify how he feels right now.”

Kody wanted to keep his problems a secret, but Meri is tired of staying in the shadows. “I will not spend the rest of my life hiding the fact that this is our relationship and hiding the fact that you told me you never wanted to be in a relationship with me again. This is also my story and I have the right to tell it,” declares Meri.

Meri knows she has options. She can “continue to live as she has for the past 8 years” where she is still married but not emotionally. “Or I can close it. I can take the necessary measures to carry this forward,” says Meri.

She adds, “And that doesn’t fit with my values, because I didn’t marry Kody and make this forever pact just to make it look like it wasn’t working for us. I think I will be at peace.
