Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper’s classic ’80s film Poltergeist It’s one of my all-time favorite horror movies. It’s so damn beautiful and offers fantastic thrills and chills. We’ve already talked in detail about the making of the film on our Secret Level podcast, but I have a great video you need to check out!
This is a short behind-the-scenes documentary from 1982 about the making of the suburban ghost story. The documentary was directed by the film’s producer, Frank Marshall, and offers a glimpse into what it was like for everyone involved in the film while making it. I love seeing how they shot some of those amazing scenes with practical special effects in the past!
It’s funny because many believe that Spielberg was the actual director of the film, and as you’ll see in this video, there is definitely more footage of Spielberg directing than Hooper. There are also interviews with cast members. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this!
