It seems Matt ReevesThe Batman universe will expand a bit more with a possible film centered around the villain The Scarecrow.
This latest rumor comes from Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman, who claims that the film will be set in Sam’s universe The Batman.
There aren’t really any other details to share, but as a fan of the Scarecrow villain, I’m curious and excited to see what these new visions of the character will be in the Reeves Batman universe.
My favorite version of the Scarecrow outside of the comics comes from Batman: The Animated Series. That show portrayed all the Batman villains perfectly! He just set such a high standard! THE Batman: Arkham the games also did a great job with the villain and then of course there’s Nolan’s Batman beginswhere the character was wonderfully played Cilian Murphy.
If this news turns out to be true, it’s in the early stages of development and it’s a film we won’t see made for a few years. Other Batman projects in development by Matt Reeves include Batman II, The Penguin series, the series set in Arkham Asylum and Mike Flanagan I submitted a Clayface movie that I would love to see made!
I wonder who Reeves might cast as the Scarecrow. Are there any actors you would like to see play the character?
