John Stamos looked youthful when he was shot in New York this week.
The 61-year-old “Full House” alum has been making the rounds on talk shows to promote his memoir “If You Would Have Tell Me.”
The California native looked youthful in a black T-shirt and camouflage pants, which he paired with a chocolate brown leather jacket.
White and black Adidas sneakers rested on his face and he smiled brightly.
On Friday, the General Hospital alum sat down for an interview with Drew Barrymore on her talk show.

The Grandfathered actor told Barrymore: “I’ve always wanted to be famous by the way. These people who say, ‘I don’t like being famous.’ I love it.’
The father of five-year-old son Billy and his wife Caitlin McHugh told the Never Been Kissed star, 48, that he was bullied as a child because he wanted to be famous.
He was a band nerd and his classmates made fun of him by telling him that a popular girl was interested in him.
John was excited, the only problem was that it wasn’t true and the news of his interest had reached the girl’s friend.
“So I was sitting in this car and he was banging on the window and the tree, poked me right in the eye and it was so humiliating, so horrible and I had to walk around with this black eye. I’ll never forget going to the bathroom and he texted, “I’m going to kill you, big nose,” he told Barrymore on Friday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.
“And when I saw that, my heart stopped and I said, ‘I have to do something dramatic and drastic here. “I must be famous,” and I did.
“But this guy, I think that’s what drove me, every step of the way I was like, ‘I’ve got to get on TV and I’m going to show him.’
And he wants to meet this guy so he can thank him for his motivation.
“One day I’d like to see him again, and I’ll say, ‘Hey man, thanks, you’ve done a lot for me, you’ve really pushed me forward,’ and then I’ll walk away and say, ‘Thanks a lot.’ ‘and then I walked away and said: ‘By the way, you know the friend, I was with her for about two years.’

No regrets: “Before I wrote it, I said, ‘I regret it, I should have done it,'” he admitted. “I wrote it and now I’m like, ‘I don’t regret it. Everything happened for a reason. I try to find related things and I think bullying was one of them,” he continued
Fairy tale: He’s even grateful for the hard times, explaining: “If I didn’t have those rocky things, I wouldn’t have the fairy tale life I have now.”
But with the passage of time and the wisdom that comes with it, Stamos knows that everything happens for a reason.
