Peacock renews Kaley Cuoco’s comedy series Murder BASED ON A TRUE STORY for a second season

Peacock has announced its dark comedy Based on a true story is getting a season 2 renewal! The series is produced by Craig Rosenberg (The boys) and Jason Bateman (Ozarks). Rosenberg is also a creator, writer and showrunner. Bateman and Michael Costigan are executive producers for Aggregate Films, along with Cuoco. Alex Buono is director and executive producer.
