Apple TV+ has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming series Monarch: Monster Legacy today at New York Comic Con and the trailer is now live for you all to check out! This series looks like it could be good! Its scope is epic, but unlike recent movies that have come out, it looks like this show will actually tell an interesting story with interesting characters. It’s like they finally figured out how to tell a story with human characters.
In the series, “After the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco, and the shocking revelation that the monsters are real, “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” follows two brothers who follow in their father’s footsteps to discover their family’s connection to the world. secret organization known as Monarch. Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell AND Wyatt Russell), set in the 1950s and half a century later, in which Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga – spanning three generations – reveals buried secrets and the way epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate in our lives.”
Legendary Entertainment’s Monsterverse is “an epic entertainment universe of interconnected stories that bring together popular culture’s most titanic forces of nature. Witness humanity’s greatest battle for survival as we fight for our world in the face of a catastrophic new reality: the monsters of our myths and legends are real.
The series is also the protagonist Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, AND Elisa Lasowski.
The series was produced by Legendary Television, Monarch: Monster Legacy is co-developed and produced by Chris Black AND Matt Hamlet. Matt Shakman he directed the first two episodes and also serves as executive producer Joby Harold AND Tory Tunnell.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters consists of 10 episodes and will premiere with the first two episodes on Friday, November 17 on Apple TV+, followed by an episode every Friday through January 12.
