More than 25 years have passed since the finale of Seinfeld aired on TV, and now Jerry Seinfeld is hinting that there’s something in the works regarding that ending. There were a lot of fans who didn’t care about the ending of Seinfeld, to be honest I was fine with that! I liked how the conversation in the prison cell was the exact same conversation Jerry and George had in the very first episode.
Anyway, during a stand-up over the weekend, the comedian was asked if he liked the ending of Seinfeld, and he told the Boston audience that he “has a little secret” about the show’s ending. He said:
“Something will happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn’t happened yet. Just what you’re thinking, Larry [David] and I also thought about it. So you’ll see.”
Well, it’s exciting to listen to it! I’m curious to see how this little provocation will end! With Larry David being involved, I wonder if this will all be part of the upcoming twelfth season of Curb your enthusiasm. It seems like the most likely possibility, but we’ll just have to wait and see. It would definitely be great to get another one Seinfeld reunion on that show!
The Seinfeld finale saw more than 76 million people tune in live to watch, making it one of the most-watched television broadcasts in history.
