This week’s retro trailer is for the 1895 Italian horror thriller Creepers that is to say Phenomenaa film directed by Dario Argento and interpreted Jennifer Connelly.
The film’s narrative centers on Jennifer Corvino (Connelly), a young American girl who is sent to a Swiss boarding school. At school, Jennifer discovers that she has an unusual ability to communicate with insects. This talent becomes crucial when she becomes involved in a series of gruesome murders that occur at the school and in the nearby town. With the help of a local entomologist, Dr. John McGregor (Donald Nice to meet you), uses his skill to unravel the mysteries behind violent deaths and confront the sinister forces at play.
I went through a phase of watching every Italian horror film I could get my hands on and this is a great film worth checking out if you’ve never seen it. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think!
