A24 is hiring Paris Hiltonthe autobiography, Paris The Memoryand adapting it for TV. Hilton’s entertainment company 11:11 Media, Dakota and Elle Fanning’s Lewellen Pictures and David Bernad’s Middle Child Pictures are producing. No writers have yet been assigned to the project.
While details are under wraps, Paris the Memoir, published earlier this year by HarperCollins is HIlton’s personal account of his struggle with ADHD, his rise in pop culture, his brand. In the book description, Hiilton writes: “I wrote this book in an effort to understand my place in a watershed moment: the renaissance of technology, the age of influencers. I also wrote this book so the world could know who I am today. I focused on the key aspects of my life that led to what I’m most proud of: how my power was taken away from me and how I took it back, how I built a thriving business, marriage, and family.
Hilton went on to add, “There are so many young women who need to hear this story. I don’t want them to learn from my mistakes; I want them to stop hating themselves for their mistakes. I want them to laugh, cry, and embrace every aspect of who they are with courage and pride. We all have our own brand of intelligence and, girl, we fucking adapt.
She had a tumultuous experience as a troubled teenager in the blinding spotlight. This may prove to be a helpful series that will hopefully focus on thriving after trauma and self-love.
