Original STAR WARS Actor Breaks Silence in AHSOKA Series Cameo and Character Poster

If you watched the seventh episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka, then you know who I’m referring to in the title. If you haven’t watched it yet, there’s a spoiler cameo later!

At the beginning of the episode, we see Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) in the middle of a military tribunal, and just as she is about to be summoned to court, C-3PO shows up with a message from Senator Leia that gets Hera out of trouble.

It was nice to see the familiar face of C-3PO’s droid, and it was great to see the original one Star Wars actor Antonio Daniels he reprized his role by voicing the character. Daniels has now taken to social media to break the silence on his big cameo Ahsoka and he said:

“I was so happy to shine briefly in the iconic Ahsoka – I had so much fun with the lovely cast and crew on set, in the stunning volume – and now, so touched by the kind comments from viewers who appreciated 3PO’s presence for the “Beloved Princess” event. Thank you. To everyone.”

You can see his tweet below:

I imagine this won’t be the last time we see C-3PO in the Star Wars universe. I’m sure he’ll be back at some point, and Daniels has no intention of retiring from the character. During a previous interview with CinemaBlend, Daniels said:

“No, I’ll never retire. They’ll have to throw me out the door… Life isn’t over, the movies, maybe take a backseat to 3PO, for a long, long time, I would think. But there are all kinds of other media, especially now with digital formats, which I am so happy, grateful and proud to be a part of.”

Where do you think we’ll see C-3PO appear next?
