If you’re a fan of the zombie genre, I have a trailer for you to watch from Dark Sky Films titled Flock. The film follows a woman who tries to escape her past and ends up caught between a zombie outbreak and warring militia groups. She must fight to survive and find her way back home.
In the film: “Jamie and his wife, Alex, try to save their failing marriage by taking a canoe trip to rural Missouri. After Alex breaks her leg, the women find themselves trapped in Jamie’s hometown overrun by virus-infected “Heps”. Worse, Alex gets scratched by one of the afflicted. After witnessing personal and gruesome horrors, she attempts to escape with Alex, only to be betrayed by one of her only liaisons. Now, caught between the group that rescued her, a rival militia, and the growing threat of hepatitis C, is there any chance she can save Alex and finally escape?”
The film was directed by Steven Pierce and Dark Sky shared, “Steven Pierce has made a film that brilliantly ratchets up the tension and puts a new spin on the zombie outbreak subgenre.” It actually looks like a decent zombie movie that might be worth checking out.
Movie stars Corbin Bernsen, Timothy V. Murphy, Ellen Adair, Mitzi AkahaAND Jeremy Holm. Herd will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting October 13, 2023.
