Netflix has released a new promotional video for its live-action adaptation of A piece. It’s a featurette that takes us behind the scenes and shows off all the epic sets built for the show. The sets for this show are ridiculously impressive.
The video shows footage from the show’s production and includes interviews with the cast and crew talking about what it was like to be on these sets while filming the show. This is a pretty interesting and in depth video and if you haven’t watched it A piece and yet, what are you waiting for!?
A piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Inaki Godoy) and his pirate crew as they explore a fantasy world of endless oceans and exotic islands in search of the world’s greatest treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King.
Other main characters include Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson) and Sanji (Taz Skylar).
Steven Maeda is co-writer, showrunner and executive producer of the series along with Matt Owens, who also serves as co-writer and executive producer. The series is also the protagonist Morgan Davis (Dead Evil) in the role of Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (The sexual life of university students) like Alvida, Aidan Scott (Action point) like Helmeppo, Jeff Ward (Tricks) as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III (Ozarks) as Arlong, and Vincenzo Regan (Troy) like Garp.
