Director Darren Aronofsky (The whale) has offered a first look at his upcoming film, which is described as an immersive “sci-fi experience.” The film will only be shown in one theater, but that theater is home to the largest screen in the world, and it’s in Las Vegas.
The film is titled Postcard from Earth and is a “part science fiction story, part nature documentary” and was specially commissioned to be screened at the MSG Sphere, opening in April 2023. This project is an “immersive and innovative exploration of planet Earth through the eyes of two human beings.” .”
The screen is the size of four football fields and envelops the audience. The screen also boasts the highest LED resolution in the world and the venue can accommodate up to 17,000 people.
Aronofsky shared a video on Instagram and wrote, “First look at the largest 18k 60fps screen on the planet.
