Lionsgate has released the first trailer for a new vampire horror action thriller titled Thirst for bloodand is described as Mad Max meet From dusk to dawn. The film centers on a small army of vampires who terrorize a community of people struggling to survive in an apocalyptic wasteland. Some people might be interested in watching it, but I’m not impressed.
Thirst for blood is directed by Michael Su (Transformers: Mech Beasts) and written by Adrian Milnes. The film is the protagonist Tara Reid (American Pie, The Big Lebowski), Costas Mandylor (Visa IV), AND Roberto LaSardo (The Mule, Nip/Tuck).
In the story: “After the apocalypse, only two tribes remain: the desperate humans and the wandering vampires who feed on them. In the desolate West, John Shepard seeks out the elderly vampire leader, hoping to destroy him and free humanity. But when Shepard and his band of native sons and daughters of farmers join forces with a local militia, they discover they are closer to the Master than they think.
Thirst for blood will be released on digital, on demand and DVD on October 31, 2023.
