20th Century Studios has released a new clip for the director Gareth Edwards’ next science fiction epic The creator, which looks like it’s going to be an incredible action thriller. I’m really excited about this movie! The clip is titled “Did You Spot the Weapon?” and is focused on John David Washingtonthe character talks about the weapon he has acquired. The weapon appears to be an AI robot in the form of a child.
The creator “is set in the midst of a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence. Joshua (Washington), a former special forces agent hardened by grief over the disappearance of his wife (Gemma Chan), is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced artificial intelligence who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end war… and humanity itself. Joshua and his team of elite agents travel behind enemy lines, into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory, only to discover that the world-ending weapon they have been ordered to destroy is an AI under shape of a child (Madeleine Yuna Voyles).”
The film is also the protagonist Ken Watanabe, Sturgill SimpsonAND Allison Janneyand will be released in theaters on September 29, 2023.
