We have a creepy new clip for The nun 2 to watch today. The scene is set in a Catholic boarding school and features a group of boys who prank one of their schoolmates by locking her in a decrepit room. As you can imagine, that prank turns into a real nightmare. Watch the clip below:
The film is set in 1956 in France. “A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the global hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face to face with Valak, the demon nun.
In the story, there is a series of murders in the Vatican and the church believes that Valak is the cause of it. Then they call Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) to help and face the nun again. Sister Irene is attempting to live a rather anonymous life in a convent in Italy, but things don’t go so well when Valak, now possesses Irene’s friend Maurice (Jonas Bloquet).
The director of the film, Michael Chaves, previously explained that Sister Irene “had this traumatic experience, this great adventure, and now she wants to live a life of service. Maurice has arrived in France and works in this boarding school as a kind of handyman. He has a friendship and flirtation with one of the teachers there, and you can see him starting to mature, so that’s where our characters start. But we know from the first film that there is something terrible inside him, that Valak has escaped inside him, and events put Irene back on a collision course with her old friend.”
The film is also the protagonist Storm Reid (The Last of Us), Anna Popplewell (The Chronicles of Narnia) AND Bonnie Aarons (The nun).
The nun 2 will be released in theaters on September 8.
