Fantastic new trailer for the limited series THE CONTINENTAL: FROM THE WORLD OF JOHN WICK

Peacock has released a badass new trailer for his upcoming 3-part limited series John Wick prequel series The Continental: From the World of John Wick. The trailer offers more details on the history of the series, but the most exciting aspect is all new footage of the fantastic action sequences! One thing this show definitely won’t skimp on is the action. It seems that in terms of action the series will be on par with what we have seen in John Wick movie.

The story of the series is set in the 70s and will dive into the interesting story of this wild world of assassins and the High Table.

The story will be told through the eyes and actions of Winston Scott, “who is drawn into the hellish landscape of 1975 New York City to face a past he thought he had left behind. Winston plots a deadly path through the mysterious underworld of New York in a harrowing bid to take over the iconic hotel, which serves as a meeting point for the world’s most dangerous criminals.

Executive producer Basil Iwankyk he had previously spoken of the series, saying, “The four Wick movies are set over the space of three months… John is chasing, or being chased. There was no time to catch a breath, to allow the audience to dig deeper into the world and its people.”

He added: “In our show, the continental, we finally have room to explore these characters, how they came to be who they are, and how The Continental became the epicenter of this world. Combine that with the introduction of new characters as compelling as any in the John Wick universe. Crazy, fantastic and creative action. Easter Eggs that will thrill hardcore Wick fans. And what I love most: a vision of 1970s New York that embodies the sexiness, edginess, and visceral style the franchise is known for. This show will look/sound/smell better than any other show out there.

The series is the protagonist Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott; Ayomide Adegunwho will play a young Charon (based on Lance Reddickthe character of); Peter Greenewearing Uncle Charlie’s fedora (based on the tight-lipped body disposal expert); Mel Gibson like Cormac; Ben Robson as Frankie; Hubert Point-Du Jour like Miles; Jessica Allain like Lou; Mischel Prada as KD; AND Nhung Kate like Yen.

The series is written and produced by Greg Coolidge (Wayne, Ride Along) e Kirk Ward (Wayne), who also serve as showrunners. David Leitch, Derek Kolstad, Erica Lee, Chad Stahelski, Paul WernickAND Rhett Reese they will also serve as executive producers.

The series will premiere on Friday, September 22, with episode 2 arriving on September 29 and the third and final episode airing on October 6.
