The term barbenheimer was born in view of the theatrical release of Barbie AND Oppenheimer. These two films released at the same time created a crazy cultural phenomenon and the films saw impressive numbers at the box office.
Well, now we’re really going to get a barbenheimer film by Charles Band, the creator of the horror series Puppet Master. He is producing the film project, which focuses on the dolls as they try to build an atomic bomb. This is 100% real and an obvious attempt to capitalize on the success of Barbenheimer’s insanity. This is the synopsis of the film:
“Deep in Dollsville, a group of fed up dolls – led by the brilliant Dr. Barbenheimer – build an atomic bomb. Their mission? To bring down the patriarchy once and for all! But as the battle of the sexes escalates, Barbenheimer and his bevy of beauties Do they end up blowing up more than they bargained for? Comedy, drama, action and Armageddon explode in Full Moon’s latest crazy fantasy film, BARBENHEIMER!”
The film is said to be on its way towards production and is expected to release in Christmas 2023 on Prime Video. You can expect this to be a silly low-budget horror film that will go without saying, and it will be interesting to see if the project sees any legal resistance. But “Barbenheimer” has not yet been given a brand name.
