Here’s a new trailer for Liongate’s upcoming inspirational drama Ordinary angelswhat stars Hilary Swank as a woman who is inspired to help a widowed father, played by Alan Ritchson, saves the life of his seriously ill young daughter. The film is about selflessness and just being a good person. There’s nothing wrong with spreading a little positivity around the world!
The film is based on a true story and centers on Sharon (Swank), “a proud but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed (Ritchson), a hard-working widower realize ends up making ends meet for his two daughters. With her youngest daughter awaiting a liver transplant, Sharon decides to help the family and she’ll move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring story of faith, daily miracles, and common angels.
Ordinary Angels was written by Meg Tilly AND Kelly Fremon Craig and directed by Jon Gunn (The case of Christ, the week). The film is also the protagonist Nancy Travis, Tamala Jones, Amy Acker, Drew Powell, Skywalker HughesAND Emily Mitchell.
The film will be released in theaters on Friday 13 October.
